An Orphaned Story is a fragment of a story isolated in time. It's like a frame from a film that has not yet been filmed.
As a child i reveled in wonderful illustrations by artists like Rackham, Dulac or NC Wyeth of stories that I had not yet read. For me they were Orphaned Stories.
